We offer various launch times to fit your schedule, whether you seek the serenity of a morning paddle, the vibrant energy of a mid-day adventure, or the enchanting magic of a sunset journey. Whatever your preference, we have the perfect option to create your ideal experience on the water. 

Half-day tours are approximately 3-4 hours long, and full-day tours last 4-5 hours. We live for adventure, so we always leave time in our tours for spontaneity. 

For both guided and self-guided tours, we provide:

• An extra stable, sit-on kayak with a comfortable backrest and multiple footrest positions.
• Lightweight, Aqua bound paddle 
• NRS life jacket
• Necessary safety equipment
• 13-liter dry bag for your essentials
• Bottled water
• For guided tours, we also provide a variety of snacks.

At this time, all tours are self-drive. Your kayak guide will meet you at your chosen launch site. 

Yes, we offer private tours for groups of 1-10 people. We also offer group rates for large parties. Please contact us for more information.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced paddler, we ensure you will have a fun and safe experience. We love introducing newcomers to the sport and we provide sturdy sit-on kayaks for extra confidence. Before departure, we'll provide you with safety rules and paddling instructions. It's the perfect opportunity to try kayaking! 

Yes, our Northbound tours pass by the Emerald Cave. During peak season, there can be an hour's wait to enter the cave. We highly recommend choosing our exclusive, early morning launch to beat the crowds. If there is a crowd during your tour, we explore the surrounding areas and visit the cave when the timing is optimal. Our goal is to always keep you moving and having fun on the river! 

• Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.  
• Layered clothing of your choice with material that dries quickly and offers UV protection. Don't forget to bring your bathing suit if you plan on swimming!
• Water shoes are highly recommended. Please wear footwear that you don't mind getting wet and can easily and safely walk in.
• A camera or phone to take pictures and videos.   
• Cash for the gift shop, National Park Entrance fee, and gratuity.

Yes! This area of the Colorado River is considered flat-water kayaking, with no areas of white water. Of course, depending on the weather and flow, there can be wavy and choppy water. For this reason, we have chosen wide and stable sit-in kayaks for your comfort and safety.  

With over 15 years of experience as professional river guides, we are true experts in our field. Our extensive background includes advanced rescue techniques, precise reading of wind, river, and weather patterns, as well as certifications in CPR and Wilderness First-Aid. We always carry communication devices to ensure safety in emergencies. Beyond safety, we will bring a wealth of knowledge about the area’s geology, history, wildlife, and plant life, ensuring your trip is not only safe but also educational and enjoyable. 

Yes. We highly recommend paddlers to be at least 13 years old and 100 lbs. Kids weighing 55 lbs. or more can join the adventure by riding in a tandem kayak. Our single kayaks hold up to 275 lbs. 

Full Refunds: If you cancel your tour at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you will receive a full refund.

No Refunds: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time, including no-shows, are non-refundable. Private tours and large group bookings are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

We strive to accommodate our guests by offering credit and the option to reschedule for an alternate date. Please note that these courtesies are at the discretion of management and may incur additional fees.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a tour due to safety or weather concerns, you will receive a full refund, including the park permit fee, provided you submit your receipt.

Yes! Our Adventure Guarantee ensures that every tour is an unforgettable experience. If your expectations aren't met, we'll offer you a full refund, a future tour credit, or another solution that works for you. Your adventure is our top priority!

Yes. This is a river trip with active paddling! You will definitely get wet, at least up to your ankles or more if you desire.  There will be an opportunity to splash in the river for those wanting to dive in during the warmer weather and cool off.

As for keeping personal items dry, we provide all guests with one 13 liter dry bag.
